Join us for our ritual celebration as we celebrate the hidden beginnings of Spring, then share in our community potluck as we feast virtually together.

In the coldest depths of winter, the days are getting lighter and seeds are beginning to germinate. We are blessed to live in a climate where by this time we can see the first shoots of spring defying winter’s rule – our ancestors took it on faith with the lengthening days. Make your favourite dish and celebrate with us!

Snowdrops are a symbol of Spring, peeking through the snow with determination, strength, and beauty, they are a symbol of hope, a promise that the land will return to life once more. Our ancestors must have felt so much relief seeing the first flowers of the year, knowing the wild herbs and edible plants would grow once more. At this point in time, they were relying on what had been preserved in Autumn to ride out the rest of winter. It’s easy for us to forget the significance of this holy day with our modern farming methods and supermarket foraging. Imbolc is associated with Goddess Bridget, Lady of Spring, the Forge, and Inspiration.

For those joining us online, please bring reeds, raffia, or pipe cleaners to make you Brigid’s Cross with us. And remember to have some food and drink ready for the cakes and ale portion of the ritual and make your favorite dish to feast and celebrate with us!

The Circle of the Sacred Muse ATCC is the public ritual group for the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada. We are an open Wiccan community serving Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River and the surrounding communities on Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Our circle is accepting of all, regardless of race, gender or orientation. Whether you are an experienced covener, new to the craft or just curious, you are welcome here. As we are told in the Charge of the Goddess, we bring “mirth and reverence” to our rituals.

We ask that you RSVP for rituals so we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone. Dates may be subject to change. Feel free to contact us for more information!

Recommended donation for Circles is $5.00-$2.00 for members, and $10.00-5.00 for non-members. Your gifts, of any amount, are greatly appreciated. We have many ways to give:
